The Concept

FRESH BLOOD is a concept we developed in London, in 2019. As the name suggests, FRESH BLOOD is all about celebrating 'the new': whether it be a collection of emerging winemakers, an exciting development in style or the renaissance of an established region.

While supported by international offerings of a similar nature, FRESH BLOOD BNE 2022 will platform a selection of budding South Australian winemakers, in a limited capacity experience, to showcase the state's exhilarating developments within the independent, sustainable and 'minimal intervention' movements.

Along with ultra-rare natural wines from New Zealand, Germany and France, most of these producers have never been seen in Brisbane before, while those who have, will be pouring their very latest releases for your sensory pleasure.

Sessions & Ticketing

We have created two sessions for this event, a DAY SESSION and a NIGHT SESSION.

Please note: this is a stand-up tasting event.

Each session includes three hours of tasting, followed by a further one hour to relax and enjoy the experience, as you desire. We suggest that you arrive early, just prior to your session commencing, to ensure you make the most of your three hours of tasting.

After check-in, you'll be free to explore the wines available while accessing all three venues for the duration of your session. We will email each ticket holder a digital map, just prior to the event, detailing where each winemaker and importer is positioned. Each venue will serve the 'stand-up snack' (selected and included with your ticket purchase) shortly after you arrive. There will be ample seating available, should you wish to enjoy more food or drinks from any of the venues, or share a rare bottle or two purchased from the bottle shop.
