The Concept

Back in 2016, we created an experience called ‘Sidewineder’. The premise was simple: invite Australia’s most relevant winemakers to Adelaide for an event, with no South Australian wines in the lineup.

We were curious; we wanted to see what was happening over the fence.

If there’s one thing we’ve missed dearly during the pandemic, it’s bringing the tribes together, to celebrate our differences, as well as the ideals and the passions that we share.

The Lineup

Our FRESH BLOOD event series, launched in London in 2019, is all about showcasing what happens next in Australian wine; the new independents and the breakthroughs; the rising talents we feel you should know about.

Sessions

We have created two sessions for this event, a DAY SESSION and a NIGHT SESSION.

Each session includes three hours of tasting, followed by a further one hour to relax and enjoy the experience, as you desire.

We suggest that you arrive early, just prior to your session commencing, to ensure you make the most of your three hours of tasting.

After check-in, you'll be free to explore the wines available, while accessing every cosy corner of The Olivia Hotel. We will email each ticket holder a digital map, just prior to the event, detailing where each winemaker is positioned. There will be seating available, should you wish to enjoy a burger, beer, cocktail, or share a rare bottle or two purchased from the bottle shop.

Due to capacity restrictions, there are only 80 tickets available, per session.
