The Concept

FRESH BLOOD is all about what happens next. It’s about the discovery of new winemaking talent, but also innovation, and the emergence of new styles. It’s about celebrating the future of Australian wine that we want to see flourish.

For our eighth and ninth iterations of the series, we’ve handpicked a selection of breakthrough winemakers from South Australia, Kangaroo Island, Victoria and New South Wales, together with one importer, to bring the FRESH BLOOD experience to Melbourne and Sydney for the very first time.

So How Does It Work?

Please note: these are stand-up tasting events.

FRESH BLOOD begins with three hours of tasting, followed by a further one hour to relax and enjoy the experience, as you desire.
We suggest that you arrive early, just before 12PM, to make the most of your tasting time.

Upon entering the venue, each ticket holder will be given a take-home glass, token(s) and a printed wine list.

After checking in, you'll be free to meet the winemakers and explore all of the wines available. For your convenience, we will email each ticket holder a digital map, just prior to the event, detailing where each winemaker (and importer) will be stationed during the tasting.

Every ticket holder will receive a $10 SNACK TOKEN that you can redeem on any menu item between 12-3PM.

Wines will be available to purchase by the bottle, to either enjoy at the event, or to takeaway.
