Wine Playground (finally) returns to Canberra, to celebrate New South Wales' most progressive winemakers.

This time, it's all about the locals ;)

Thanks to our good pals at Makeshift, we're returning to the capital on Saturday 3rd of September, with a tightly curated selection of New South Wales' most relevant and most progressive winemakers.

So how's it work?

We have created two sessions for this event, a DAY SESSION and a NIGHT SESSION.

Please note: this is a stand-up tasting event.

Each session runs for 4 hours and includes 2.5 hours of tasting, followed by a further 1.5 hours for you to relax and enjoy the experience as you desire. We suggest that you arrive early, just prior to your session commencing, to ensure you make the most of your tasting time.

After check-in, you'll be free to explore the venue and enjoy all the wines available, while meeting the wonderful souls who made them. We'll email each ticket holder a digital map, just prior to the event, detailing where each winemaker is positioned.

The wondrous Katie Spain will be our emcee, and will be providing intermittent Open Forums with winemakers throughout the day. These are very open, fun and informal chats, while also remaining as informative as possible—please be sure to get involved while you're enjoying a tipple with your friends and loved ones, towards the end of your session.

There will be ample seating, should you wish to enjoy more food, beer or cocktails, or share a rare bottle or two purchased from the bottle shop—oh yes, takeaways will be available!

Finally, we're thrilled to have Sourdog Provisions (the same flavour maestros behind Project Enoki) supplying all your sumptuous eats on the day. You'll be supplied with a $10 token upon entry, as included in your ticket price, that can be spent on any item from their menu.

As little added bonus for the keen and eager, the first 100 tickets sold will receive $10 off any bottle purchase from the bottle shop, to either enjoy at the event, or to takeaway.
